IASA Journal - Issue 49 - Published Online

Dear Colleagues --

I am happy to announce that issue 49 of the IASA Journal has been published online for the first time on the new IASA Journal web platform:

For the first time, the IASA Journal presents its content as open-access scholarship available to all. We hope this is a step forward in growing the reach of IASA and sharing broadly the valuable knowledge of IASA's community. 

Announcing the Czech Translation of IASA-TC 03!

IASA is excited to announce the release of a Czech translation of The Safeguarding of the Audiovisual Heritage: Ethics, Principles and Preservation Strategy (IASA-TC 03). The new translation is available as a PDF only on the web edition page for TC 03 here: https://www.iasa-web.org/tc03/ethics-principles-preservation-strategy.

Broadcast Archives Section publishes Cold War radio research guide

The document provides information about publically available collections materials (sound recordings, archival papers, photographs, publications) created by broadcasters during the years 1947-1991.

Intended for a wide variety of audiences, it is hoped that Research Collections with Cold War-era Radio Materials will prove helpful for researchers seeking information about events, languages, religion, sports, and the performing arts both within and independent of the Cold War historical context.
