Announcing the new version. I am pleased to report that a (slightly) revised version of IASA-TC 06 Guidelines for the Preservation of Video Recordings is now available for free download at the IASA website. An initial version of TC 06 had been posted in 2018, with an invitation to interested specialists to comment.
The Joint Technical Symposium will follow immediately after the IASA 2019 conference in Amsterdam (a 40-minute train ride from there to Hilversum).
The 140th International AES Convention — Europe’s largest gathering of audio professionals from around the globe — is slated for June 4-7 at Paris’ Palais des Congrès. From cutting edge research to fundamentals to practical application, the four-day technical program brings the opportunity to network with and learn from leading audio industry luminaries. Special events — including technical tours of premier production facilities and installs, student focused sessions and a 3 day manufacturer exposition round out the Convention.

We are pleased to announce that, with support from Memnon and translation services from Jean-Marc Fontaine (and Xavier Loyant), IASA has completed the design and publication of a French translation of IASA-TC 04.
