MAIN GOALS:
• Expose and analisyst the current panorama and problems facing the preservation of digital collections in libraries, archives, museums and galleries.
• Establish points of agreement and links between professionals in libraries, archives, museums and galleries to search solutions in digital preservation matter;
• Create common digital preservation strategies that can be used by libraries, archives, museums and galleries.
DIRECTED TO:
• • Librarians, sound and audiovisual archivist, art curators, information professionals, engineers, researchers, students and teachers interested in the digital preservation of archives, archives, museums and galleries;
• • Researchers and publishers of scientific publications;
• • Librarian, documentation and archives students.
• • Professionals from different areas of knowledge and anyone interested in the theme of the Congress.
MAIN TOPICS
The topics that can be approached from a transversal perspective involving libraries, archives, museums and galleries vision are the following:
I. Common problems in the preservation of born digital documents (e-books, e-journal, sound and audiovisual born documents , digital photographs, among others);
II. Interoperability and ontologies for managing heterogeneous data;
III. Digital preservation versus digital curation;
IV. Technologies for long-term digital storage;
V. GLAMs in the creation of e-platforms (science, culture, education and government);
VI. Collaborative projects for the digital preservation of GLAMs
