Call for applications - IASA Coordinator Position

The International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) is seeking a motivated and energetic coordinator to help support IASA’s mission. This is a stipend funded position with an estimated annual effort of 200 hours. This position will work closely with the IASA Executive Board, including the Secretary General and Vice Presidents for Conferences and Communications.  The IASA Coordinator will assist the Executive Board in the following key areas annually:

  • Ensure smooth operations of the association and maintain continuity in the annual calendar of activities.
  • Help plan and execute the annual conference.
  • Support efforts to promote IASA, its mission, and goals.
  • Liaise with external bodies and partners, including sibling organisations and the professional community.
  • Seek opportunities for partnerships for the organisation and its activities.

Responsibilities may include the following areas and tasks:

  • Operational Management
  • Assist in coordinating the Annual Conference
  • Outreach and Promotion 

In this position, and as a representative of IASA, you are expected to follow the organisation’s Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. This position will help foster and support inclusive approaches to efforts and operations.
