We are pleased to announce the 37th edition of the ongoing technical symposium, The Reel Thing, to take place in Bologna, Italy on June 26 in conjunction with the 72nd FIAF Congress and Il Cinema Ritrovato. The event, on the second day of the Symposium A New Life for the Cinema of the Past, will take place at the Teatro Comunale, Largo Respighi 1.

Dear colleagues,
Due to the fairly short time until our conference (
http://2016.iasa-web.org/), the original deadline for submitting proposals was relatively early. We thank all those who made the extra effort to submit their proposals on time and we will weigh that timeliness accordingly when considering proposals where other factors are equal.
For those that need more time, we are extending the deadline for submissions to 31 March 2016.
