The 10th edition of No Time to Wait (NTTW) will take place from 14–16 October 2026 at the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute (FINA) in Warsaw, Poland. Organized by FINA and MediaArea.net, the three-day conference brings together audiovisual archivists, developers, digital preservation specialists, and open-source advocates to explore open media, open standards, and innovative approaches to digital audiovisual preservation.

The International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA), in partnership with the Baltic Audiovisual Archives Council (BAAC), will host the IASA–BAAC Joint Conference 2026 from 19–22 October 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania, at the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania.

The Australasian Sound Recordings Association (ASRA) is pleased to announce its 2025 Conference, to be held in Sydney and online from 30–31 October 2025. Under the theme Reflections on “Deadline 2025”: The Past, Present, and Future.

We are pleased to announce that JTS 2026 (Joint Technical Symposium) will be held in person for the first time in six years, hosted by the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia in Canberra. From 3-4 March 2026, audiovisual preservation professionals, students, and researchers will gather at the Arc Cinema to share innovations, research, and practical experiences in the preservation and management of sound and moving image collections.
