Currently, the IASA Journal is looking for volunteer reviewers to participate in the day-to-day editorial activities of the journal. The IASA Journal is released twice each year (April and October) and leading up to release, reviewers will be asked to serve as peer reviewers for submissions that are in line with the reviewer’s expertise and experience.

The Library of Congress has just posted on the BIBFRAME website a new report: “BIBFRAME AV Assessment: Technical, Structural, and Preservation Metadata” http://www.loc.gov/bibframe/docs/pdf/bf-avtechstudy-01-04-2016.pdf. It was prepared by Kara Van Malssen and Bertram Lyons of AVPreserve under contract to the Library of Congress. The report studies the state of technical, structural, and preservation metadata for audiovisual resources in the bibliographic environment.

We are pleased to announce that, with support from Memnon and translation services from Jean-Marc Fontaine (and Xavier Loyant), IASA has completed the design and publication of a French translation of IASA-TC 04.
