The 47th annual ARSC Conference will be held May 15-18, 2013 at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza. The hotel, in the heart of Kansas City, overlooks Country Club Plaza, a premier shopping and entertainment district.
The Marr Sound Archives, located at the Miller Nichols Library at the
University of Missouri-Kansas City, is not far from the conference venue.
Local attractions include: the American Jazz Museum, Arabia Steamboat Museum, Hallmark Visitors Center, Harry S. Truman Library and Museum, Kansas City Zoo, Jesse James Farm and Museum, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

The Education and Training Committee of ARSC, the Association for Recorded Sound Collections, is pleased to announce that for the first time, ARSC is offering a live webcast of its pre-conference workshop for those who are unable to attend in person in Rochester, NY.

The workshop and live webcast will run from 9:00 am - 5:00 PM EDT (13:00 - 22:00 UTC), with breaks. An archived version will also be made available to all registrants for a limited time.
