The IASA Executive Board has granted an extension for the submissions of proposals for presentations, posters and panel discussions for the 43rd IASA Annual Conference, to be held in New Delhi, India, 7-11 October 2012.
The closing date for submissions has been extended to February 28, 2012

Applications are invited for a PhD Studentship starting in September 2012 to undertake research in Semantic Audio. This is an important emerging research area in Sound and Music Computing, pioneering the technologies that underpin new user experiences of music, from the recording studio to the living room.

Elag 2012 will be hosted by the Universitat de les Illes Balears (www.uib.es) in Palma de Mall orca, Spain.
The ELAG 2012 conference welcomes proposals for presentations, workshops and preconference "hands-on" boot camps that address how new technologies are extending the reach of the library and allowing library services to be provided everywhere library users are found.
